Why does every role have commission?

We don’t believe in the traditional “we’re paying you a salary so you should go above and beyond for that” and pay you a salary that would’ve been a good wage 20 years ago.

We understand that people need to be incentivised to go “above and beyond” so why wouldn’t we ensure our staff do actually go above and beyond and give them good reason to? That way, our staff are 10x more productive and our staff turnover is 10x less than anyone else.

Progression

Our progression system revolves around promoting the right person at the right time. People aren’t promoted simply based on their billings or on their ability to consistently do their job. More often than not, people are promoted simply because they’re good at their job, not good at managing or leading people.

The progression system we have in place means each manager (or Desk Head) is trained into their role, not simply thrown in the deep end, allowing them to help the team below them as well as avoid them burning out and becoming overwhelmed, risking them underachieving because they’re left to their own devices.

This means at ACGI, everyone receives the right level of training to their role, so that we don’t have toxic managers who increase our staff turnover, we don’t have underachieving staff because the business is geared up to put time and effort into helping people achieve the best, ultimately, you becoming better at your role also helps us, so why wouldn’t we invest in our staff?
